The Food Safety Legislations - A Need For The Public Health
– FreeHealthCommunity.com
In the United Kingdom, it is mandatory that all the
enterprises carrying on the food businesses must have the hand washing
facilities ready with them at all the time when they are providing the
customers with their companys food. It is so regulated in order to ensure the
public health. It should be for the sole purpose of washing the hands only and
should not be used by the consumers for any other practices. The companies must
also ensure that this facility is in equal access to all the staffs working there
and none is unaware or not getting the benefit of this facility. Several other
facilities like providing with the hot and cold water both and also keeping the
soap there and the hand drying facilities are also essential.
There can be a prosecution on the person or the company if
they are found to be violating these rules made by the U.K.
Government. This crime is included under the head of
criminal law and may need to be present before the Magistrate or the Crowns
court. The degree of the cases handled by both of them varies while the
Magistrate court has the right to deal with less serious offences, the Crowns
court is responsible for dealing with the cases of grievous nature wherein
might be the negligence on the part of the company in abiding by the rules of
food safety lead to the death of the person in concern. Food safety UK is quite
strict.
There is also a need of being prepared with required safety
measures for the protection of the pets. The food they are provided with needs
to be checked properly that what its ingredients are. The official control food
is assigned with this job.
If the food business carrying on companies want to play a
safe business, all they need to do is to check the food temperature and take
proper safety checks on a regular basis of their products. The hygiene control
in food will help them to detect the mistake if any at an early stage and then
eradicate it form their products.
